    If the AirPort Express light will not turn on, this indicates that the internal power supply inside the Express has failed, and the device will need to be replaced.

     

    If you really do have an 802.11a/b/g version of the Express, it is at least 8 years old, and probably significantly older than that.  The average useful life of this product was about 3-4 years, so you have had amazingly good luck with your product.

    Oh thanks for that prompt reply. And yes it is more than 8 years old.
