Q: booting into recovery mode
I have a Macbook Pro man MD101B/A. It currently has el capitan latest. I am trying to prepare it for re-sale. When I try to open in recovery mode, it comes up with the connect to network, I select the right network and password, and then nothing happens except the screen shows the network, and a logo of the world. Is that correct? I was expecting it to come up with the usual window showing the disk utility, restore from time machine backup etc, but it's not showing that. Do I just leave to forever with the network showing?
Just mystified as to why Im not getting the options I was expecting.
TIA
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Just verified, if a proper wired (ethernet) connection is detected, you will not see a wireless prompt. On a 25 Mbps download connection, it took about 4-5 minutes to get the Recovery Console.
