Q: IMovie 10.0.7 - Can't export movie

Help!

Created iMovie in iMovie 10.0.7 but I can't export the file by any method. 

For example, if I 'share' to 'file' and select my 'desktop' then I get a message saying the export was successful but nothing actually exports. 

After reading posts I tried creating new library and moving project here but no help.

I'm desperate and would be most appreciative of your help!
