Q: ipad mini - personal hot spot keeps coming back
Mini completed software update this morning to IOS 9.3.5
iPad mini does not have cellular option only wifi.
IPad keeps wanting to connect to "Personal Hot Spot" which is pointing to my iphone.
I don't want the IPad to ever use my iPhone as a personal hot spot and have marked it as inactive on my iPhone.
However, the ipad continues to show my "Personal Hot Spot" pointing to my phone as an option.
I've had this issue in the past and found a solution, but of course, I don't remember it.
I have done a reset and reset all networks, on the IPad but the "Personal Hot Spot" option keeps coming back.
Personal Hot Spot is disabled on my IPhone.
Any ideas of how to remove the "Personal Hot Spot" option?
Thank you!

ShagCA said, "The iPad will detect the iPhone nearby via Bluetooth if its turned on, and will show the Personal Hotspot option even it its not turned on on the iPhone.
If you turn off Bluetooth on the iPhone, it should disappear from the iPad."
This seems to have worked.
Solution: I turned off the bluetooth on the iphone, rebooted the iPad and the Personal Hot Spot is totally removed.
THANK you all for helping sort this !
Appreciate it!
