you will need to contact that employee and get their info, you will also need to have them turn off icloud.

Sep 1, 2016 9:09 AM in response to mymartinzooby ChrisJ4203,If the company purchased the device, they can take the device and a copy of the purchase receipt and ask Apple for assistance. Need to make a Genius Bar appointment first.

Sep 1, 2016 9:13 AM in response to mymartinzooby ServiceEngineer78,Hi,
Just connect it to a computer with iTunes installed. Hold down the home and power buttons until it enters recovery mode (about 15 seconds). You will know when the iTunes logo and power chord show up on the screen, then let go of the buttons. iTunes will then allow you to restore the phone to factory.

Not if the device is Activation Locked to the former employee's Apple ID.

Sep 1, 2016 9:38 AM in response to ServiceEngineer78by mymartinzoo,I'm off to the local Verizon store where they can call apple to do an unlock for me and then a factory re-set. What a process!

Sep 1, 2016 10:29 AM in response to mymartinzooby ChrisJ4203,I had no idea that Verizon would facilitate that. We have been lead to believe that it requires a trip to an actual Apple Store location. I hope it works, but let us know.
