Cannot enter verification code sent to other apple devices

I am trying to download Adobe Connect on my iPad and after entering my password I get a prompt that I need a special apple code sent to my other devices. However, when I try to enter the received code the iPad does not allow me to enter it. It seems that the keypad is blocked. What's happening.

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. I know how important installing this new app on your iPad is to you! If I understand correctly, you are unable to enter the verification code on your iPad that you receive from a trusted device for two-factor authentication. Here is what I suggest to resolve this:

1. First, restart your device as the shut down and start up process is important to keep the iOS software running properly:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

2. Next, make sure your iOS software is up to date, as it contains user updates and stability that may help resolve this issue:

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

3. Last, I would generate a new verification code and test the issue again. If you're still having the same issue you may need to contact AppleCare support as they have more tools and resources for issues like yours.
