Q: Combining Apple Music with iTunes Match

I have iTunes Match and have downloaded all of my music to my Mac and my iPhone with is my preference. I understand that if I begin a subscription to Apple Music, my downloads will be deleted and I will have to go through the process of downloading all of my music again to both devices. Is this true?

Also, are there other concerns with adding Apple Music to iTunes Match or a downloaded music library on a Mac or an iPhone that I should be aware of before I make the decision to subscribe to Apple Music?

TThis actually does not resolve my question as it doesn't address my question of whether downloads are deleted. Regardless, I was referring to reports I've read from users it has happened to.

Hi,
Itunes Match already uses iCloud music library. Therefore the matching / uploading process has already been done. Adding Apple music will be seamless. Your library on your computer will not be changed other than that you will now have access to Apple Music streaming or downloading. Music already on your hard drive will not be deleted.

Also make sure you update your backup before you subscribe. With the recent changes made to the matching process, you probably won't need to keep your iTunes Match subscription. You should consider turning off auto renew.
