How good are my specs?

I want to edit 4k video, color it in davinci resolve, and render it without my macbook frying/dying. Before I drop money on a camera and lens, I want to know, do my specs fit my needs? I have a late 2013 15inch macbook retina pro with Processor 2 GHz Intel Core i7, Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, and Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB. Can I edit 4k with these specs, and please tell me which parts are good or not good (e.g. if my processor is great, but my gpu *****)
