Question about iCloud Photo Library and choosing what shows up on iPhone.
I recently began exploring options regarding Cloud photo storage. I have a LOT of photos (****) and what I want is to have them available wherever I go! I've tried Dropbox, google drive, OneDrive, Amazon Drive, and even Facebook photo albums. I loved Dropbox but decided the amount of storage I needed wasn't worth the price. I've decided that iCloud Photo Library makes the most sense for me to use; since all my devices are Apple, and if I need additional storage the price options are the most sensible.
So I began using iCloud photo library. I turned it on on all my devices, and began importing photos from my external hard drive. The problem that I'm coming across however is that now, when I go to my Photos app on my iPhone and click "All Photos", they are ALL there. Every photo that I've taken between 2006 and now. That isn't what I want. I want to be able to have my Camera Roll separate from where all of these photos are stored. Ideally I would like them to be a little more private, maybe even password protected.
So my question is, is there any way for me to have my photos accessible on my phone (pre-downloaded so it's not like I have to wait for them to download each time), but not meshed with my Camera Roll photos?
Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!
