Question

Could not load Users & groups preference pane

I have been trying to access my users preferences in the utilities to adjust my startup programs and i keep getting a message saying "PREFERENCES ERROR Could not load Users & Groups preference pane."

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), null

I literally got this to work a few minutes ago on my own after trying tons of advice from other threads to no avail.

Here's what I did:

Open System Preferences -> Parental Controls -> Create a New User Account with Parental Controls
Go through the steps and create a new user
Try opening the User & Groups pane now. If this doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in
If it works, go ahead and delete the new account
