Trying to pair the new Bose wireless QC35 headphones to my macbook air. Running OSX10.11.6
Computer is not discovering the headset
Cant seem to manually add the device
Headphones pair fine with my iphone
No option in the sound preference either
I think it is designed only to work with iOS devices only. There is no reason why the QC35 does not show up on the Bluetooth list on my MacBook. Apple (Beats) deliberately blocking superior Bose products?
In System Preferences > Sound select the Output tab and make sure the correct device is selected and make sure the Mute button is not selected.
Same problem. Carolyn's suggestion is incorrect...it's not user error. For some reason, osSierra is not discovering the Bose QC35 over bluetooth.
