Playing Local Music ONLY

Hi,

I'm on iOS 9.3.5. iPhone 6+.

In previous iOS versions, you'd be able to switch between 'Show All Music' and 'Show Local Music Only' (or the like) in the Settings tabs, but that choice is no longer available and the Music app just keep going to the 'cloud only' songs (when WiFi is disabled) or play just the cover art for 1-2 millisecond then jump into the next local song (not on WiFi network).

It's really annoying! There's a reason why I choose to transfer certain but not all of my iTunes library of songs to my iOS devices! Why did Apple disable this flexibility?

Another downside now is that you can't properly go back to the most recent local song properly - when you hit the backward button, it sometimes gets stuck in a 'cloud-only' song.

I know there are work arounds like creating a 'local only' playlist - but is there a better, more direct solution?
