Q: iPod 5G with Video charging cable replacement?

Can anyone recommend where to buy a replacement charging cable for an iPod 5th Gen w/ Video 30GB?

I know it's the old type of charging cable, but I was also pretty sure that there are 2 version of that 'old' version. iPhone 4 chargers don't work correctly if memory serves me right.

Model: MA146LL

Size: 30GB

Version: 1.3

This has a color screen and touch wheel.

Thanks

iPod classic, iOS 1.x, 30GB

You can use either type of "30-pin" to USB docking cable that Apple officially sold as replacements.  The current one still being sold is this

    http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MA591G/C/apple-30-pin-to-usb-cable

In the product listing, under Compatibility, 5th gen iPod is listed.

The older type has a larger plastic connector at the docking end, but the connection point is the same as the newer type.  With the older type, you squeeze the sides of the connector to release hooks.  The newer type is held in place by friction and two "bumps" instead of hooks; just pull to release.

Third-party options from reputable sources also work fine.
