Where is the 10.11.6 ("El Capitan") 2016-001 Security Update – Download-Link?
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
At the App Store.
Open the App Store then select Updates from the menu top of the App Store window.
Of course, that´s correct.
My intent was to download the .DMG (Disk image) to install it company-wide.
The update via App Store worked fine on my MacBook Air, but stopped downloading on my iMac (I tried three times, each time with the same result). Hope this download link works.
Proceed with caution. The update hosed my boot up on my Mac Mini with a Fusion drive. Backup first!
