Q: Photoshop messing with my fonts :(

Hi,

A few weeks ago I booted up Photoshop (CS6) like I did most of the time, and went to the text tool. However, when I went to use the text tool; all of my fonts were wrong! They were locked in caps and in this weird italic type mode, not to mention that they looked completely different. I really need to fix this as I use Photoshop to make custom text for my edits in iMovie, which does not have that option, and desperately need those fonts back...

I have done nothing to the fonts prior to this, and they seem to work fine in programs such as Pages... just not Photoshop.

P.S I am using El Capitan if that makes any difference.
