Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. After reading your post, I see that you received an e-mail from the iTunes Store that references an Apple ID that is not yours, on an iPhone with a name you don't recognize. I definitely understand your concern and why you would want to find out if it is legitimate. I'd be happy to help!Take a look at the following article; it will help you identify legitimate e-mails from the iTunes Store, so you can tell if the e-mail did come from Apple.
