iPhone 5s completely dead

my sister's iPhone sudden stopped working a few days ago. It won't charge or turn on or even connect to iTunes. We tried everything like holding both the home and power button. It did fall, but it worked after the fall once, But then went dead.

Any ideas on what's wrong?
