Q: Issues with Security Update 2016-001

After apply the Security Update 2016-001 my iMac stop chiming at startup and experienced performance issues with Final Cut Pro X, any suggestions?

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
