Q: activation lock

Hello

I bought second-hand iphone 6 from a person. an Apple id was entered in iphone and then I updated ios. Then update iphone shows a page for activation lock. I can't find person that I bought iphone and can't came to apple store. Please help me.

Sorry, but you are basically out of luck if you can't get a hold of the person that sold you the iPhone. Apple, may or may not be able to help you. The main issue is that the seller did not properly prepare the iPhone so that you can use it.

The only thing you can do at this time is verify that the device has Activation Lock enabled.

No, Apple doesn't do support by email. And, even if they did, they wouldn't unlock the phone for you.

The phone is useless to you. Period. Full stop.

Apple will NOT help you with this as you are not the original owner of the phone.

I'm sorry, but you're just going to have to accept the fact that you got ripped off.

Turn the phone over to the police. There is nothing else you can do.

What ever you do, don't follow Rafcool's suggestion.

It will only get you scammed again. That site he is suggestion is nothing but a bunch of scammers.

Unless of course that is what you want to have happen to you.
