Hello,
I have something that looks like a burn mark on the leftcorner of my Macbook screen. Anyone has any idea to what that may be coming from and what I should do? This just started today. This computer has been with me for more than a year so I can't take it to Apple at this stage. I'd highly appreciate the help.

To me it look like that edge of the screen was damaged. Maybe something got in the edge when you closed the screen.
Look carefully at the are for stress marks.

Yes, that's what I thought, too, but the image you see is a screen shot. How could a screen shot reflect a hardware damage?
