Q: sonos and two step verification

Hi, My Sonos wants me to re-authenticate since I changed password, but it won't accept my efforts. I am in the middle of the 'Two-Step Authentication' process with apple ID, and wondering if I have to wait the two days for the Apple Two-Step to complete before I can use Sonos again?
