Probably a scam. Do not reply.

    Where did it come from?

It is most likely a scam trying to trick you into entering your Apple ID credentials into a clone of one of Apple's pages.

    See these support resources:

The last one includes information on forwarding the original message with headers to Apple at reportphishing@apple.com which, one hopes, they might use to take down fraudulent websites. It might help to send the occasional sample if you're prepared to take the time.

    I seriously doubt that.

How about posting a copy of it here.

Are you certain the email is really from Apple, and doesn't just pretend to be?

Have you ordered any service lately from Apple which would justify the sending of the message?

In this case it seems a repair is involved, have you asked for one?

The last possibility is that it is a genuine message that relates to a fraudulent use of your credit card, but a repair would be an odd choice since I would think that might put the fraudster at risk of being identified and caught.

Press and hold the blue link until the real address shows in a pop-up. If the domain isn't apple.com then it isn't Apple.

BTW Apple would address you formally by name, the missing space after the full stop wouldn't be there. There would be more details regarding this supposed service and a unique reference number. It is fake without further evidence.

The IMPORTANT part of that message is WHERE the link " reparationstastus " leads

I do not use an iPhone, so I cannot instruct you on how to safely COPY the TARGET URL of that link - then paste it here safely

    Or I could be wrong!

Not sure why you asked the question if you had a reasonable expectation of some correspondence with Apple.

Without knowing more it may be that they make a charge for any part of the repair or replacement that isn't covered by warranty, then refund once they are satisfied about what will be covered.

No, I don't mean anything in particular.  I'm not party to your conversation with Apple over your repair. You mentioned giving them money and them giving (some?) money back to you so I made a reasonable assumption on that basis. Only Apple know what is and isn't covered in this case, and you certainly haven't shared enough information with us, your fellow users, to understand the circumstances clearly.

EExample if u have a headphone like beats and it's broken so u contact Apple for support so they will ask u your IM number and some questions after that they will tell u to pays a exact amount of money so u will pay and after they will send u a boxe from a service with instrunction . Do u understand now

Then the most likely explanation would be that they have decided your repair/replacement is covered by warranty. Hopefully all will become clear when the replacement set and any letter arrives.
