    Export it as a JPEG

    Or crop it

or export with smaller pixel dimensions

The reason you use a TIFF si that it is uncompressed so there is zero data loss - therefore it is very large - you have to either compress it (a JPEG for example) where there is some (very minor i you use low compression - high quality) or remove some data to reduce its size

Thanks Larry - just what I wanted and the TIFF have been copied into jpegs and they are around 3 to 4 MB each photo which is just what I wanted.  Really appreciate the advice.

    You are welcome

And the best way to do that is to export them (file export) - any other method may cause more data loss
