already subscribe to showtime, connected new streamer, ordered netflix on computer, can't get apps for netflix and showtime to appear on my home screen, vicious cycle, confused as to how i get to netflix please help

maybe i'm not right for a community, is this a site for asking questions, sometimes really simple questions, shoot, i don't have any awards, i'm pleased i figured out how to get the t.v. back on after connecting the streamer by changing the HDMI setting. That only took me 24 hours and several phone calls, plus time trying to remember where i had put the original remote that came with the t.v. i want to watch orange is the new black in my recliner in the living room on a t.v. screen not here on the computer with bungi cord chair digging into my butt. I keep reading, refeeding in my password to the app store to get the netflix app and keep running into a brick wall, this can't be that hard. please give me some simple straight forward answers thank you
