Q: Home sharing - ipad mini - video works, music doesn't

Hello good people,

Using itunes on MBP. Everything is enabled for home sharing. Using ipad mini, video app sees the shared content from my Mac but the music app comes up with nothing. The option to select the shared content isn't even there.  Help me please as I'm going to lose my mind.
