javascript not working on ios 9.3.5

Hi

I have a web page that uses javascript functions that was, until recently, working fine. I recently upgraded to ios 9.3.5 and not the buttons & functions no longer work. I have checked on various web sites including javatester.org and they all report javascript is not enabled in my browser although it is enabled when I go to settings. I have an Iphone 6s and and Ipad both of which have the same problem.

Is anyone else aware of this issue?
