Q: How do I make 2 tables side by side?

I have had Pages since it was introduced but have rarely used it and as a result have very rudimentary knowledge.

How can I put 2 (or more) tables alongside each other with a gap between similar to the example below (which I had to copy from the internet)?

The following was done in Pages v5.6.2.

From the View menu, Show Layout. Insert the appropriate table style. Set the column count to 3, and the row count to fit your needs.

Use the cell and text tabs, and their respective color eyedroppers to set the header cell background, and text colors. In the Arrange tab, set the table width to 3.15 in. With the table still selected, press the option key and drag a copy (duplicate) of this table to its right. Then move to align both tables with one another, the margins, and provide the appropriate gap between them.

If you want more tables, you will have to either limit their row count, and that would provide sufficient room to place four three-column tables on one portrait page, or you will have to switch to a landscape layout.

Besides put them in columns you can create one table and make the separation a column of cells with nothing in them and no lines.
