Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to be able to rely on your iPhone working as expected, and I'd like to help.
Before we go too far It's always a good idea to simply power cycle your iPhone after updating, if you have not already. All you have to do is hold down he Sleep/Wake button and then slide to power off and then power back on. If the behavior continues after the reset you can keep troubleshooting.Because you are experiencing these behaviors after an update, it sounds like we may need to reset the settings on your iPhone to ensure they are using the most up to date information. This will not delete any of your data, but may reset some of your preferences to default, including your wallpaper, passcode, screen brightness, bluetooth, Wi-Fi and notifications, so you may need to set those back up after this reset. Also make sure you have your Wi-Fi passwords so you can reconnect. You may wish to backup your settings and data just incase, and this article will help you with that process:
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
To reset the settings you can go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
Your phone will take a few minutes to reboot. If you are still experiencing any trouble afterwards, please let us know. The whole community is here to help.
-Best regards
