Q: Possible spam e-mail regarding monthly music subscription
Has anyone else received a possible spam e-mail saying they have been invoiced/charged for a monthly music subscription? My e-mail address is on there but someone else's i-phone name for £49.99. It says you can click on link to cancel purchase within 14 days but if you do it asks for card details etc - seems very suspicious. Have checked my purchases on my account and nothing untoward showing but wondered if a monthly subscription would come under the music section - worried - can anyone advise please?

Check the email header if you know how and see if it actually contains anything about Apple in it. You can take a look at this support document which provides information about identifying suspicious and phishing attempts. If this is a fake, you can forward it to Apple as an attachment and then delete it. Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email - Apple Support
