Logic 10.2.4 and El Capitan 10.11.6 not working

Freezes and goes into "not responding" when the opening script reads "Updating information about audio unit plug-ins"

I tried moving the components out, I tried re-installing logic, I tried deleting the audio cache preferences. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

This is crazy, ALL Apple OS should work with Logic with NO problems at all, this is the reason I moved from Pro Tools.

I have no problems but I am still on El Capitan 10.11.3.

Maybe Apple themselves will have the answer, are you far from an Apple store? they are usually very helpful there.
