I am not able to reinstall GarageBand on IPad

hello, I am unable to reinstall garageband onto my IPad, although I use to have it installed in the past. The app show in the previous buys but everytime I try to download the app once again, it doesn't do anything. I really appreciate any help on solving this problem. Thanks
