When I back up my iPhone 6 on iTunes the menus on the backup page are blacked out. I'm using iTunes V12.4.3.1 on El Capitan. This is on a my iMac mid-2011quad core i7, 16gb ram. Any ideas what the issue is. Its been that way for at least a year.

I've seen this happen when the data is shared between Mac and Windows machines - which could suggest that the items on the backup page are not formatted correctly, Mac-wise.
I've also encountered this after changing your language prefs.
Poikkeus, thank you for responding but not sure if I'm following. The screen I'm referring to is the one that lists the options, and when to back up. It should look something like this...
And instead looks like this...
Not understanding how what I have backed up would change the appearance of the screen. I know I've never changed my language options either.
