I'm creating my first iBook. I'm using Author 2.4.1 on a MacBook Air with El Capitan 10.11.6.
I closed my file and on reopening it I can't see my content. The chapter titles are there but the thumbnails are black and the main window is white. I generated a preview and that's ok, including graphics and functioning embedding audio clips, so the content seems to be there. Also the file is several MB in size. The only extra information I can think of is that I renamed the file while it was closed (and can't remember what the old name was).
Any suggestions? Obviously I can't continue to edit what I can't see.
