Q: Can't find templates folder pages 5.6.2
I saved a Pages file as a new template, using the Add to Template Chooser dialog box. In Pages, the new template shows up in the template chooser as "Tech Blog template". Now I want to copy it to a different Mac. But where is the actual file located? I tried using SpotLight to search for the template by name, but SpotLight could not find it. So then I looked in several places on my Mac where other people seem to think it should be ...
I looked here:
/Users/Mike/Library/Containers/ -- but there is no file called com.apple.iWorks.pages
And here:
/Users/Mike/Library/Application Support -- but there is no folder called iWork
And here:
/Applications/Pages.app/Contents/Resources -- which lists 807 items, but not any of my templates
And here:
/Applications/Pages.app/Contents/SharedSupport/Templates -- which lists 114 items, but not any of my templates
From the above, you can see that it's not in any of the usual places. So where is my template file kept?
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), 16Gb DDR3, 1Tb hybrid drive

Hi macTATAAbox,
Instead of searching through the library, Open the template via Pages Template Chooser and save as a document (not Save as Template). Transfer the document to the other computer, open it in Pages and Save as Template.
Regards,
Ian.
