Q: Huawei P9 - I'm having lengthy issues with getting my photos from the phone to my Imac

Huawei P9 - I'm having lengthy issues with getting my photos from the phone to iphoto on my Mac.

 

Before the summer I bought a Huawei P9 phone, I can view the photos on the phone easily - i just can't get them onto my mac.  When I connect using a USB cable it refuses my permissions.

 

I'm trying to use my Google account to view them on the Mac and move them over to Iphoto - I can't work this out either! I can see them, I just can't move them!

 

I'm pulling my hair out and I haven't enough to do this with! Please help...

    You need support from the Phone vendor - it is an issue with how their phone works and how to use it and has nothing to do with Photos or iPhoto - if the Photos follows proper standards then Photos and iPhoto will work with it

     

    You may need special third party software for your Phone to load into Photos or iPhoto
