removing java os x for 2015-001

I have been trying to get Fireworks CS6 to work now that I have El Capitan installed in my Powerbook.

On some forum post i saw this as a way to get Adobe CS6 products to work with El Capitan. I installed the official legacy Java 6 from Apple but the software still won't launch.

Do I need to remove the Java 6 I just installed?

How do I remove it?

Is there any security issues associated with this?

You cannot remove it. Don't worry about it. The Adobe software may need a more recent Java from Oracle.

Thank you. I will try the latest version I guess. Do you know if there is any known security problem with Java for Mac anymore?

Each update to it is usually intended to help plug security holes. OS X also contains anti-malware software designed to help with security issues and is regularly updated when needed. It's all behind the scenes from the user.
