Q: There is another email address showing up when I go in to do my updates

i went in to do my updates and it asked me for my password but the email address was not mine

Each iTunes App Store or Mac App Store application has the Apple ID used to download it stored inside it. This can’t be changed without deleting and redownloading it.

The owner of that email needs to go to iCloud.com and remove your device from Find My iPhone

That is for the account that is being used in Settings > iCloud on the device, it won't affect the id that shows for downloading app updates
