Q: Copy and paste from Web table is not retaining the table formatting using the latest Pages software under MacBook Pro El Captain version 10.11.6

Previous to the last update, this was not a problem. I could simply copy & paste into Pages from the web without losing formatting. Now it is jumbled. Paste and match style does not help (did not use this previously either).

If an HTML web table has any possibility of pasting into Pages, it must be pasted into the first cell of an existing Pages table, where that cell has been pre-selected with a single-click. The Pages table will automatically expand to accommodate the web table's rows and columns.

If it is a non-HTML table (e.g. pure CSS, or Flex), then it will either replicate downward in the same column, or not paste correctly at all.
