Q: Closed Captioning stuck on...

For some reason my closed captioning is stuck on for all of my video apps on my Apple Tv (32g). When I watch a show in apps like Netflix, HBO Now, and others; the subtitles show up on the bottom of the screen.

have gone into the settings (under Accessibility) and confirmed that the close captioning is off. I also did a total reset of the Apple TV with no success. Any suggestions? I am stuck. Thanks much!
