I used an my iPhone 4s cable charger on someone else's iPhone 5s. Now my cable charger does not work. Is it probably damage? Stores are closed tomorrow because it is a holiday here and my phone is low in battery.
Can an iPhone 5s cable charger be used to charge and iPhone 4s?

To use one for the other, an adapter has to be used. While it would be rather strange that the use of the cable with another device could result in it stopping working, anything is possible. You can make an appointment at the Apple Store to have the cable examined, and if it is under 1 year old and found to be damaged and not user damaged, the Apple should replace it.
I'm not sure how you could have used your 4S charger on a 5S? It wouldn't have fit...
You were right. Further investigation I discovered my phone is not a 4s but a 5c. I would not have looked into that if it wasn't for your answer.
I tried to clean where the cable inserts into the phone with no success. I went to apple store and they looked after it for me.
