Q: Changing AppleID on my IPhone

Hello everyone.

I'm new user here, so I'm sorry if some of you will find out my question stupid. I've recently bought Apple iPhone 5 from second hand dealer. Phone has damaged display so I needed to replace that at one of the local services. Few days ago I've finally got phone but when I'm trying to sign in with my AppleID I've created I'm getting message that I cannot unlock the phone with it. I've also tried to reach the dealer who sold me the phone, but he's number is not active anymore. Any suggestions what should I do, who I can contact to help me solve the case? Please help me.

Regards

    You have a major problem.

Your iPhone has been Activation Locked by the previous owner.  Activation Lock is an anti-theft measure.  The previous owner may have had their iPhone lost or stolen and therefore not released the iPhone from the Find My iPhone service.  If that is true, the iPhone will be useless to you.  Nobody, not Apple or anyone else, can help you.

If you can, contact the original owner or return the iPhone for a refund.  Otherwise, you might use the iPhone as a bookend or a doorstop.  I hope you didn't pay much for it.
