Q: can i get up next on my ipod nano 7g?
The title says it all.
I just want to know how to do this so that i can go out for a run without having to use shuffle!

There is no feature that is called "up next." But you can create a new playlist on a 7th gen nano. Or you can edit an existing playlist. See page 22 in the online user guide

That playlist is effectively your Up Next list. You can add songs to it (while playing it), like the Up Next feature in iTunes. Make sure your iPod is set to play song lists in order (not shuffled).
