Q: activation lock removal

I found an iPhone long time ago and nobody didn't even tracked it, so I decided to keep it, my actual phone does not work anymore and I proceeded to get the phone I found and own it, but apple is asking me for apple ID and the email of the person that lost the phone is there. What can I do to remove it

The device appears to have an Activation Lock on it.

The only way to remove it is to return the device to its original owner to have it removed, and seeing as you found the device and assuming you don't know who it belongs to, the device is essentially useless to you.
