Drag it to your desktop.
Drag what? Nothing exists! This is a new pc . . a MAC. Let's say I foolishly open Safari and manage to find out how to get to Facebook.com. Now I am at the login part - top of it. To make it easy to get to this point, I want to create or make a icon on my MAC laptop that says "Facebook" and then every time I want to access Facebook, all I have to do is click on the icon and it takes me to the part where I login!
With Microsoft, it is a lot easier - with MAC, this is NOT the case!

Drag the info in the address bar to your Desktop.
Hi,
Open any application you like. You will see the application(s) that are active (open) in the Dock.
Now go to the application you like that it stays in the Dock by right clicking with your mouse.
Now select under "Options" Permanent in Dock.

Hi again,
Sorry for my earlier post ... but Facebook is NOT a application but a website.
So my solution will not work for you.
It only works this way with applications.
As QuickTimeKirk suggested is wright ... just drag the website icon to your desktop. A copy of the website link will work as a shortcut for quick acces.
Good Luck ...

Thank you!
