Q: iBooks Author layout format

Hi...

i'm using iBooks Author 2.4.1 and want to create an iBook with an layout format scale 16:9 because i'm using a extern 26'' touchscreen on a MacMini. Is it possible to change the format from 1024 x 750 to another for example 1600 x 900?? At the moment i have grey bars on the left and on the right in fullscreen mode... Or is there at least a way to change the colour of these bars? ...Or is it possible to change the format in iBooks to fit the book to 16:9??? Thanks for your help!!!

    I do not believe there is an option to change the layout format scale. I expect because the more common viewing device would be an iPad.

     

    If you are creating a 'publication' for viewing on a specific screen size then perhaps you would consider using Keynote which does have the ability you are asking for.
