Q: Need a new home button that matches my phones imei

I recently replaced my iPhone 6's screen but in the process I ended up tearing the home button Flex cable is there anyway I can get a new home button that matches my phone's imei, and so I don't get iTunes error 53 and my touch id work.

Thank you

    Hi

Apple does not sell spare parts.

Also, if your repaired the screen yourself or used someone other than Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider, the associated damage means that your iPhone is likely now ineligible for Apple hardware service (including out-of-warranty repair or replacement).

If I remember correctly, error 53 due to non-Apple screen replacements was corrected with a different version of iOS 9.3 last spring and should remain so for future versions. As for your Touch ID, I don't think there is much you can do to get it working.

As OriginalName022 indicated, Error 53 should not be an issue. However, your TouchID is never going to work again. You're going to need to learn to live without it or buy a new phone.
