Q: My 2010 MacBook Pro keeps crashing
Hi, Ive had this computer nearly six years with no problems but in the last few day it has started to crash around every hour. It is a 15in mid 2010 MacBook pro with 8gb of memory and running OSX El Capitan 10.11.6. When it crashes the user is doing different tasks.
This is the panic report from this mornings crash
Any advice in what may be causing the problem would be appreciated.

MacBook Pro

The cause of this kernel panic is the graphics card fail. The series of MacBook Pro 15-inch, 2010-2011 with the discrete GPU had a problem with defective graphics card. It is most likely your case. Apple had a replacement program where the defective logic board was replaced with the new one for free. It lasted for 3 years, but unfortunately now it has ended already MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) intermittent black screen or loss of video Quality Program has ended - Apple Support
There is a similar thread for you to get more information What should I do when the intermittent black screen or loss of video Quality Program has ended?
Anyway, I believe the best solution is to take your computer to the specialist for the investigation.
