Q: Frozen IPOD - Apple Logo

Hello all. My IPOD is currently stuck with the Apple Logo on it. When I connect to my MacBook pro it shows on the desk briefly by then disappears when ITUNES opens though it doesn't show in ITUNES.

I have spoken to Apple support and they suggested that I take it a local apple shop. Have tried to book a spot but there are none at the two stores closest to me.

Any suggestions in how I can unfreeze it.

The model is 160GB from December 2009.

It is possible that the number of Playlists I have may be contributing to the issue. I use the "grouping" box in music files to create sub-genres - (for example, Alternative, Indie Folk, Grunge, Americana, Blues, Jazz and a whole lot more....)

There are PL by artist, sub-genre and album....there's something like 40 playlist folders, some have 3 PL's in and others may have 50.........

all, its now re-syncing - but with just a few hundred songs on
