Q: Lost Project

I created a library for a wedding video and then a project called Wedding. I could not then find the project in the library. This was not a problem because the project opened each time I started FCPX.

Unfortunately today I opened another library and now when FCPX opens now it goes to the project in that library.

I've looked at back-ups and I've found one called  20160905_1134_GMT+1.fcpbundle which corresponds to the last time I edited the Wedding Video and tried to Open the library from back-ups but this does not bring up the missing project. I've created my own back-ups by copying and pasting contents of the timeline into a new project so I have the work I did up until yesterday evening but I've lost the work I did this morning.

Open the library with the wedding and post a screenshot of the libraries pane and browser indicating the event that held the project.

Close the application and open the library bundle contents. Look in the event folder that's inside the library and post a screenshot. Don't do anything.

Don't know what this means. How did you do this if you can't open the project?

    1) Select the Library and enter the word Wedding in the search box - do you not see the project?

    2) Open the Library Smart Collection for projects - do you not see the project?

Thanks Luis and Tom for your replies.

I've tried the searches you suggest Luis without success.

My problem is I don't know which library the project was saved to. The project was still opening when started up FCPX so I copied it to make a back-up, but it stopped doing that when I edited another project. I think my only way forward is to do the editing I did this morning again. It should be quicker this time around because I'll remember what I did.

There couldn't be all that many libraries to search on, really?

I can understand you might have more than one library open at the time you created the project, and that you may have accidentally created it in the wrong one, but how many libraries would you have open at the time?  Two or three?

There was only one library open and I've searched all the libraries I have. It does  not make much sense. I have now re-edited what I lost this morning.

    Thanks again for your help.
