Q: iCloud Library matches incorrect version of song

Hello,

I recently purchased a couple of personalized CDs for my son.  They are character CDs (Disney and Sesame Street) which sing his name in the songs.  This has created a unique problem with iTunes.  When I rip those CDs to my iTunes library on my PC, the application immediately tries to match the songs.  (I am an Apple Music and iTunes Match member.)  Once matching is complete, I'm left with the correct version on my PC, but a version with an incorrect name in my iCloud library.  Furthermore, because I'm an Apple Music member using iCloud Library on my family's devices, I can't manually sync my music to my son's touch.

Is there a way that I can either:

1. Force iTunes match to upload the song from my PC rather than matching it?  If this is possible, how would I go about doing it?

2. Set iTunes to completely skip this song now and future whenever I match my library?

Thanks!

    1. Untested, but you could try adding a few seconds silence to either end of a copy of the track, or both, with something like Audacity in the hope of fooling the match algorithm. Keep originals safe somewhere.
    2. Make a <128k copy of the track, again preserving the original. If it is less that 128k it may still sound reasonable but should be ineligible for the iCloud Music library.
